N-Tier Application Architecture

My blog has moved. Please go to: http://jstawski.com/archive/2006/03/25/N_2D00_Tier-Application-Architecture.aspx

Well, I just finished my N-Tier presentation and I can say it was the best presentation of all the 3 presentations I presented so far. The content was good, exciting, and cutting edge; and the crowd was the best I had. They laughed, and participated a lot. It was a very interactive session. It makes me really happy because a lot of the participants told me I did great job. As promised, below is the code and the presentation.

Web Custom Server Controls

My blog has moved. Please go to: http://jstawski.com/archive/2006/03/25/Web-Custom-Server-Controls.aspx

I just finished my presentation on Web Custom Controls at the Orlando Code Camp and it went very well. I must say I wasn't the only one teaching or the only one learning. I was taught a few things about server controls and I always appreciate this.

As promised I'm posting the presentation as well as the code.

SQL Server 2000 and 2005 side by side continued

My blog has moved. Please go to: http://jstawski.com/archive/2006/03/17/SQL-Server-2000-and-2005-side-by-side-continued.aspx

The other day I discovered something really cool that I would like to share with the development community. If one of your worries of running MSSQL Server 2000 and 2005 side by side is having to work with 2 IDEs, then no worries no more. You can use the new SQL Server Management Studio to view MSSQL Server 2000 and 2005 servers in one place.Croppercapture3
